The CCF-50 - High Performance Foil Drive System

  • Single pull mode - Enter the pull length into the touch screen

  • Automatic sequence mode - Enter the number of dies, the size of the dies, and the die repeat.  It will set the pull sequence such that the length of the longest pull is as small as possible.  It is never necessary to have a series of short pulls followed by one long pull.  There is always a solution of intermediate-sized pulls.

  • Sequenced pull mode - Eight levels of sequences with up to 99 pulls per level.

  • Hologram mode - When supplied with this option, the FOILBOSS is capable of registering holograms in both single and multiple die configurations.  When using multiple dies, a variation of the sequence pull algorithm sets up a sequence such that the mazimum pull is as small as possible - a great advantage in maintaining good register control for hologram work.

Total Register has once again set the standard in foil drive systems with our new system controls.  All foil drive controls are built into the computer and accessible from the touch screen. 

With the addition of Total Register's SEAMSKIPPER® feature, seam lines in "rainbow" in diffraction foils never show on the final product.

The standard Total Register mark sensor is used to detect the small gap at the seam, and make the first stamping adjacent to it.  The software calculates how many stampings will fit between the seam lines and, after stamping that number, skips over the seam and repeats the process.

The SEAMSKIPPER® is an addition to the registered hologram version of the FOILBOSS® foil drive system.  The standard hologram and the fiber optic modes of operation are unaffected.
